Recent Past Activities Include

Supporting Dean Maxwell Home in bringing groups of Senior Citizens on outings and holidays for many years. Indeed, when there was a danger of the Home being downgraded, Roscrea Lions were to the fore in organising local support that averted this would-be catastrophe!
2012 - Running a local Drama Festival and Organising a Charity Walk - Charity walks have been a calendar event for many years.
2013 - Organising "A Night at the Dogs", An Egg Race and a Charity Walk. A huge event this year was the initial 10k Run in October.
2014 - A Famly Fun Day was organised and run in the local Tesco Store - The 10k Charity Run continued this year - St. Patrick's Day Parade has always been supported by Roscrea Lions - up to and including a float.
2015 - Holding a Valuation Day - bring your treasures and have them expertly valued! A Raffle for an Easter Hamper was also run this year. The District Governor Marion Conneely paid a visit to the November meeting. We also received a donation from Maria Beaton who ran in the Galway Marathon, raising €1,650 which she presented to us in memory of her Father-in-Law, Maurice Murphy (R.I.P) who was an active member of Roscrea Lions for over 45 years. Organising Christmas Hampers.
2016 - Holding a Valuation Day - bring your treasures and have them expertly valued!
2017 - This year our Rosemary Project is fundraising in support of Carers.
